I was born in Washington D.C. in 1973. My father attended medical
school at Georgetown University and my mother stayed at home to raise my sister and me. When my father graduated
from medical school, we moved to Arizona. I have resided in Arizona for the last 30 years. I attended Thunderbird
High School in Phoenix, went on to Paradise Valley Community College and obtained a two year degree. Upon
completion at Paradise Valley Community College, I transferred to Arizona State University where I pursued a Bachelor
of Interdisclipinary Studies degree. This degree allowed me to choose two areas of study rather then just one concentrated
area. I like diversity in my life, and this is a very diversified degree. My real passion in life lies in
flying airplanes. My aviation roots go back to when I was a child. My mother used to take me on airliners constantly
to visit relatives spread throughout the United States. She said my passion was evident at a very early age, I
was absoulutely fascinated by flight. I always had to have the window seat and visiting the Pilots on every
trip was routine. I will never forget one Pilot that took the time to write up a flight plan for me and allowed me to
program some of the on-board computers. When I turned 14 years old, I dragged my dad out to the local flying club to
begin flying lessons. I started flying gliders and then moved to powered planes shortly thereafter. The Federal Aviation
Administration minimum age for flying was 16 to solo and 17 to license. I soled on my 16th birthday and got my
license on my 17th. I then built time flying small planes all over the United States. I soon after got my
big break flying a personal jet out of Scottsdale in 2001. I have been flying since and absouletely love it. I
have since started my own company managing and flying jets in the Scottsdale area. I live my life with two core beliefs.
You only live once and you really have to live every day like it might be your last. The second core belief is that
life is a lesson. I am constantly challenging myself with further education, new projects and a plethora of personal
goals that I want to achieve. Life is what you make of it, the good comes with the bad. But I truly believe that we
control the better portion of our lives.
